Greedy, arrogant and impossible to ignore, the Young Red Dragon is the dragon everyone pictures: all fire, fury and hoarded gold. This D&D Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures Young Red Dragon is the definitive mid-level boss mini, the centrepiece that makes players sit up when it hits the table.

What’s in the box

• 1 unpainted plastic Young Red Dragon miniature
• Some assembly required
• WizKids Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures, Wave 11

Painting tips

• The scales and wings love a warm scheme: a red base, a dark wash and an orange edge highlight give a just-breathed-fire glow

Supplied unpainted; glue and paints do the rest. Every dragon needs a hoard to guard, so browse the wider D&D miniatures for the adventurers foolish enough to raid it.
