Raiden takes the lead in Metal Gear Solid 2, but Solid Snake is never far from the action and this 24k gold-plated ingot puts him front and centre. It’s a genuinely low edition run of just 2,001 pieces, a nod to the game’s release year, so it won’t sit unnoticed in a display cabinet.

Best for

• Metal Gear Solid collectors after a proper edition-numbered piece, not a mass-market trinket
• Shelf or cabinet display the included stand does the work for you
• Gifting to anyone who still remembers where they were for MGS2’s launch

Gold plate, a tight numbered run and genuine licensing it’s the kind of piece that justifies the cabinet space.
