The War Despot is exactly the kind of cruel, bitter noble who claws his way to the top of a Helsmiths of Hashut army and stays there by being the hardest thing on the field. Clad in ornate, rune-covered armour and wielding the Daemonflame Glaive, a wicked weapon powered by a trapped daemon, he leads from the front and keeps his warriors in line through sheer menace.

What’s in the box

• 1 monopose plastic War Despot 6 components in total
• 1 Citadel 32mm round base
• Fixed pose armed with the Daemonflame Glaive; no build options or spare bitz

On the battlefield

• Wields the Daemonflame Glaive, a brutal daemon-bound weapon
• A leader model that fires up nearby Hashutite troops while getting stuck in himself

With just six parts to assemble, he’s a lovely quick-build project all the character of a centrepiece hero without the multi-part faff, and every rune and gem on that armour is crying out for careful brushwork.

Supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue and paints sold separately. Give him a unit of Infernal Cohort to lead, browse the full Helsmiths of Hashut range, and finish with our Citadel paints.
