Pete the Wargamer’s Signature Series primer, and a grimdark staple for good reason. Dead Animal Bits is a light, warm grey colour matched to Rakarth Flesh perfect for undead, weathered textures and as a base under loads of different colour schemes.

Best for

• Undead, bone and weathered textures
• A warm neutral base that plays nicely with washes
• Grimdark tones ready for drybrushing and highlights

It’s an XL 500ml can, so you’re getting noticeably more coverage per can than a standard 400ml primer handy when there’s a whole army queued up for basecoating.

A grimdark-friendly warm grey base. Lock in the finish with Colour Forge Matt Varnish, or browse the full Colour Forge primer range.
