Early-war German armour rolled out in Panzer Grey, and a flat coat of it looks like a grey brick on the table. This AK Interactive 3rd Generation modulation set is built around Dunkelgrau and gives you the graded tones to work light onto the upper surfaces and shadow into the recesses, so the model reads with real shape and volume.

What’s in the box

• 3rd Generation acrylics in 17ml dropper bottles
• Graded tones running from shadow through to highlight
• Matt, self-levelling finish; brush or airbrush ready

Best for

• Early-war German armour finished in Panzer Grey
• Light-to-shadow modulation across large flat surfaces
• A base coat that still has volume before weathering starts

Grey doesn’t have to mean dull work the tones properly and your tank earns its menace before a drop of pigment or wash goes near it.

Supplied as paint only brushes and thinner sold separately. Find more in the AK 3rd Generation acrylics range.
