Necrolith Bone 3 is the midtone of the Necrolith Bone ladder: a warm bone. Tone Pro gives you 30 colours in five numbered tones (1 darkest, 5 lightest), so shading and highlighting is just counting up or down.

The Necrolith Bone ladder

• Necrolith Bone 1 darkest
• Necrolith Bone 2 dark
• Necrolith Bone 3 midtone (this pot)
• Necrolith Bone 4 light
• Necrolith Bone 5 lightest

Best for

• Main basecoat
• Skulls, horns and bone
• Parchment, tabards and purity seals

Covers from the first coat and handles basecoats, layers, glazing and drybrushing. Mix with Tone Pro Shading Medium for a glaze or Blending Medium for smoother blends. Read our Warhammer Tone Pro launch guide for the full story.
